Extra Audition Date and More Than Just Singing

Hi all. It looks like we'll be adding an extra audition date, June 9th from 7-10pm. 130 Gwendolyn Blvd in Keswick. (The Stephen Leacock Theatre)

Also, for you guys and gals who would get involved but you don't want to sing. That's totally cool, there are tons of non-singing and even non-speaking parts. So come out and tell your friend and family!!!!

Great Start

Well, we compleated the first night of auditions for "Newsies". What a terrific turn out. We had 21 out to audition and everyone wowed us. The amount of excitement people had about doing this show was just amazing. =-) The only downside was that we only had 3 15-20 year old guys come out. So we're going to open the June 1, 7-10 auditions to eveyone, not just call backs. So there is still time to come out and audition guys!!!!!! Oh and yes...this counts as ALL OF YOUR COMMUNITY HOURS for graduation. =-) We are also desperate for adult men. So come on out and support the community.

Tonight's the Night!!!

Well, tonight starts the first round of auditions. If you are interested, please drop by. No appointment needed. =-) A note for any dancers: Due to a problem with the town (who we book the theatre from) we will only have a small, carpeted space available to us tonight so if you would prefer to come June 1st 7-10 we will have the stage in the theatre for you to dance on. Anyone who cannot make tonight's auditions, please also come June 1st. If you cannot make either date, call me or email me and we'll set something up. I'm so excited to see who turns up!!!! Hope to see you there.

Linkage and Casting Notice

Well I just added a link back to the Players website. In other news I'm stilling trying to find 2 men ages (or can look) 25-40 and 1 teen age boy for "Come Over To Our House". The play rehearses between now and our opening July 21. For more information go here.

Well I have some of the template done and I'm soooo tired so I'm off to bed. I will update more tomorrow. I still want to add links and tweek stuff.

Oh I also got the "Newsies" page up on the website . I still can't believe we are doing "Newsies". Please!!! Come out and audition. We'd like to have 70-80 people in the cast as well as back stage and a production staff. The show is September 23, 24, 25, 30 and Oct 1, in Keswick Ontario (Also called Georgian which is just the "Township" name for our area. If you are from else where and would like to come see the show, our town is an amazing place to visit. We are on the shores of Lake Simcoe, just an hour or so (45 mins if your a quick driver... lol) north of Toronto. There is a 5 star resort (The Briars) to stay at as well as many more moderatly priced hotels/motels/B&B's. There are lots of great places to eat, things to do and see. Bring your friends, bring your family... tell the world!
